Ciencia e Ingeniería Neogranadina is published biannual, by the Centro de Investigaciones, Facultad de Ingeniería, Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. The journal was first published in 1993 under the name of Revista de la Facultad de Ingeniería Civil. The journal received its current title in 2000.

Objectives of the magazine interest areas:

Our objective is to be a recognized journal by its editorial and scientific quality. The journal is also interested in the dissemination of original investigation, which is relevant   for the development of new knowledge, methods and new technologies. By doing this, it is the journal’s aim to impact academic centers, investigation institutions and academic networks.

Target audience:

Ciencia e Ingeniería Neogranadina is aimed at professionals, investors, professors, students, and people who are interested in the areas of Engineering and Sciences applied to Engineering.

Mission:

The Ciencia e Ingeniería Neogranadina journal was created to disseminate high quality, original papers that are developed by the academic and professional community. The papers are the result of investigation projects, technological developments and the creation of new methodologies in all the Engineering areas that would contribute to the field of knowledge and the development of the country of origin (Colombia).

Editorial policy:

Ciencia e Ingeniería Neogranadina is an academic, peer reviewed journal that publishes articles that are the result of investigation related to the Engineering field.

The submitted articles are reviewed by the Editorial Board and a ‘double blind’ peer review process is used. The peer reviewers are recognized researches in the area of evaluation. The evaluation includes criteria according to the paper field to assure publication of high quality contents.

The abbreviation of the journal title for its referencing is Cienc. Ing. Neogranad.
