The Revista Científica is published every four months. The article will be received through calls and the issues will be visible on 1 January, 1 May and 1 September.

Geographical scope: national and international.    

CONSIDERATIONS FOR ARTICLE

The paper submitted must be original (not submitted simultaneously to any other journal). The authors are responsible for the content of the document. The authenticity of the information, including figures, tables and citations is complete responsibility of the author or authors.

Extension: Items have a maximum length of 20 pages including references to space and 1.5 point Times Roman 12 in Word format.
Titles: We suggest that do not exceed 15 words. This should include a translation into English and Portuguese.
Abstract: You must mention the focus of the work methodology used in data collection, most important results and conclusions. Should not exceed 250 words and its translation into English and Portuguese.
Keywords: five to seven different from those used in the title keywords organized alphabetically, and its translation into English and Portuguese. The use of specific thesauri according to the subject of the article is recommended. Examples: The CAB thesaures, base Scielo
Authors information: All authors should include their full names, the institution to which they belong and institutional mail 
Graphs and Charts: All including photos, diagrams, maps and charts, illustrations are classified as figures in the text to include with their respective Fuente, must be properly numbered and sent in an attachment .jpp or .tiff format with a resolution minimum of 300 dpi. I cite each figure and table in the text according to order of appearance.
Bibliography: Required and is located at the end of each article. It is arranged alphabetically by author's last name, you must go in recent APA standards http://www.apastyle.org/index.aspx.

Acknowledgements must go to the end of the text and indicate the sources of funding and / or support received.

Send the resume synthesized (maximum 2 pages) of the authors.
For editorial policies Scientific journal does not accept articles from authors who have previously posted during the measurement period Publindex. Or items shipped in the same call.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

2. The article has not been previously published or submitted to another journal simultaneously.
   • The file is sent in Open Office, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
   • It is included all the necessary information on the authors, institutional affiliation, country, institutional email.

1. Articles should be no longer than 20 pages including references to space 1.5 and Times Roman font in Word format. Additionally there should be included all images in the document and in individual files.
2. The text meets the style and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines   which can be found in “About the Journal”.
3. The article is written to a single column and includes the title, keywords and abstract translated into English and Portuguese and using APA standards.
4. The article is about a research or review and refers to the research project.
5. Attach letters of copyright (derecho autor)and originality.
6. Not having published with us in the last three numbers.
7. Failure to comply with any of the items your article will be rejected by the committee.

Articles submitted for publication may be theoretical, technical and implementation nature, must be the result of research, practical experience of the profession or review of a specific topic related to the natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, technologies and science education, which will undergo a double-blind arbitration process that will assess the originality of the text, its development, the quality of its reasoning and its relevance. Authors whose articles are published grant the rights to the Journal and the Center for Research and Scientific Development at the University Francisco José de Caldas and responsible for the opinions and statements they contain are made.

The Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, the Centro de Investigaciones Científicas (CIDC) and the editorial committee of the journal, with the purpose of maintaining the scientific and academic quality of the publications, establish the following ethical principles, promulgated by the Committee on Ethics-COPE Publications, as well as by the ethical and legal standards of the Manual of Publications of the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th edition. These good practices should be carried out by both the authors, the editorial board and the institution.
