Aim

Franciscanum, a journal of spiritual sciences, from the faculties of Philosophy and Theology of the University of San Buenaventura, Bogotá, is a semesterly publication which presents products and advances in investigation to the national and international academic community, including the recognition of the centrality of each person, daily occurrences, plurality, creativity and the dialogic-fraternal relationship which emerges from the Franciscan spirit.

Vision

In 2019 this serial publication will be indexed both nationally and internationally. In order to achieve this, Franciscanum will be characterized as being a space for the diffusion of knowledge, which, in a pedagogic and investigative way, will motivate the creative and critical capacities of the articles. It will be open to reflection on distinct contextual necessities and promote scientific and academic quality.

Target Audience

The products which will be available in Franciscanum are directed at the academic community, which is interested in the latest advances in philosophical and theological investigations.

The journal is sent to libraries of various universities, institutes, study centers, which the university is in contact and has permanent exchanges with.

Its abbreviated title is Franciscanum, and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
