Lecturas de Economía is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes papers contributing to the dissemination and advance of the Economics discipline in Colombia and Latin America. It considers theoretical, empirical, and methodological studies emphasizing the social and economic problems of the region. The journal is aimed at researchers, policy makers, and students in economics areas and related social sciences. This publication is composed of theoretical and applied papers that generally are the result of research projects; book reviews and notes, occasionally.
