Lenguaje, created in 1972, is published biannually by the Universidad del Valle School of Language Sciences, in Cali, Colombia. The journal interest is to disseminate to the academic community trends in knowledge theory and application, as well as research results and articles reflection in different branches of the language sciences.

Its abbreviated title is Leng., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
