^les^aEste artículo muestra las estrategias discursivas presentes en el discurso de posesión del presidente Juan Manuel Santos, leído el 7 de agosto del 2010. Estas estrategias son usadas por el primer mandatario (el enunciador) con el fin de establecer una ideología llamada la Unidad Nacional, con la que comienza su gobierno. Las teorías planteadas por Duranti (2000) sobre los actos de habla y por Gallucci (2005) sobre las estrategias de legitimación son el eje teórico-metodológico del proceso de análisis textual. El texto está dividido en cuatro partes: la introducción, el planteamiento de la ideología, las propuestas y el cierre alusivo al gobierno anterior.^len^aThis article shows the discursive strategies used by Juan Manuel Santos in his inaugural address, delivered on August 7 of 2010. These strategies were used by the President (the enunciator) in order to establish the ideology of National Unity as the pillar of his administration. The theoretical-methodological guidelines for the process of textual analysis are provided by Duranti's speech acts theory (2000) and Gallucci's theory regarding legitimization strategies (2005). The article is divided into four parts: introduction, formulation of the ideology, proposals, and conclusions referring to the previous administration.
