^les^aEn Santiago de Chile, durante el período que siguió a la Conquista y se configuró su sociedad urbana, se observan los diferentes indígenas que migraron a ella: andinos, huarpes de Cuyo, juríes del Tucumán y mapuche-huilliches del sur del reino de Chile. El propósito de este artículo es ilustrar su gran diversidad geográfica y étnica, al estudiar la llegada, el despliegue y la movilidad de estos actores y sus descendientes, así como sus formas de arraigo y estrategias de integración.^len^aDuring the period following the Conquista and when the Santiago de Chile's urban society was formed, one can observe various indigenous peoples that migrated to the city: Andinos, Huarpes of Cuyo, Juries from Tucaman, and Mapuche-Huilliches from the south of the Kingdom of Chile. O propósito deste artigo é ilustrar sua grande diversidade geográfica e étnica, ao estudar a chegada, a dispersão e a mobilidade desses atores e de seus descendentes, bem como de suas formas de fixação e estratégias de integração.
