^les^aEn este artículo, presentamos las necesidades denominativas en español que surgen debido a los nuevos productos o procesos relacionados con el desarrollo de softwares que se crean en la lengua inglesa mediante la utilización de la técnica del grupo de discusión entre expertos. Asimismo, analizamos las causas que llevan a los expertos a no utilizar un equivalente de los mismos en español y las consecuencias que tiene el uso de estos anglicismos para los traductores profesionales. Con base en las conclusiones, creemos necesario fomentar el trabajo en equipo desde los primeros niveles formativos para que los traductores combinen sus conocimientos lingüísticos con el conocimiento temático de los expertos y que juntos puedan reflexionar en la búsqueda de términos equivalentes en nuestra lengua.^len^aIn this paper, the need to create new terms in Spanish because of the products or processes related to softwares development created in English will be presented with the information provided by experts that were part of a discussion group. Furthermore, the reasons why experts prefer to use the English term before trying to seek an equivalent in the target language and the consequences that this has for translators will be analyzed. Conclusions suggest that teamwork needs to be emphasized from the very early stages of translation training in order for translators to combine their linguistic knowledge with experts'; thematic knowledge, so that they can together find equivalent terms in Spanish.
