SAEZ, Virginia. Representations of Violent Students in the Media Discourse. []. , 45, pp.51-64. ISSN 0123-4870.

This study focuses on the media discourses on the phenomenon of violences (in plural) in Argentine schools. Given the characteristics of the object of inquiry, a methodological approach was used and the information was analyzed in the framework of the discourse in social and educational research. According to the results, two dimensions characterizing youngsters are highlighted: the emotional dimension and the aesthetic dimension. Because of its originality, this work constitutes a precedent for future inquiries on the characterization of the so-called violent youngsters in the school.
