Knowledge management practices in social enterprises require a review of their forms of leadership in the territories, in order to characterize suitable skills and aptitudes that give rise to an organizational culture that relates social value with the effective solution of the needs in communities. Therefore, the research field on social entrepreneurship finds a favorable compression horizon in organizational factors. The aim of the research is to evaluate the progress of scientific production on knowledge management in relation to these hybrid companies, during 1995 and 2021. As a methodology, trends in research were review, for which a bibliometric and sciento-metric study were used, with a sample of 157 documents retrieved from the Scopus database. From the laws of Lotka, Pareto and De Solla Price, indicators of quantity, quality and history were developed. The results establish as areas of future research: the articulation of industry 4.0 and 5.0 tools, the global integration of entrepreneurship ecosystems, the increase of inclusion and diversity, as well as the empowerment and positioning in the environ-ment of the various communities identified as managers of solutions to their particular problems.
