The employment challenge is one of the most important challenges faced by people, especially students and university graduates; hence, the need to identify and analyze the factors related to their generation of skills and entrepreneurial intentions. Given that, through specific actions offered to them in their university education, students will have the ability to create enterprises and have self-employment. The purpose of this documentary review article was to analyze the factors related to the development of entrepreneurial skills and intentions of university students. It was based on the qualitative-interpretative approach. To answer the questions raised, the method proposed by Martinez (2015) was applied to generate theories and the PRISMA model was used for the selection of information sources. The unit of analysis was obtained from databases: Scopus, Web of Science, Scielo, and Redalyc; 28 pertinent, relevant, and eligible scientific articles with the subject of study were selected. One of the most prevalent factors observed is business education, promoting the attitude and interest of university students.
