^les^aEl artículo critica la afirmación de Diana Hoyos según la cual los argumentos escépticos típicos de Descartes presuponen una teoría incorrecta de la percepción. En particular, se muestra que el escepticismo sobre el mundo externo no depende de ninguna teoría de la percepción. Se puede abrazar o no abrazar cualquier teoría de la percepción, y los argumentos cartesianos del sueño y el genio maligno permanecen inmunes.^len^aIn this paper I take issue with Hoyos' statement according to which typical Cartesian skeptical arguments presuppose a wrong theory of perception. In particular, I show that skepticism about the external World does not depend upon any theory of perception. You can embrace or not any theory of perception and the Cartesian arguments of the Dream and the Evil Genius will remain unharmed.
