MONTANEZ-GOMEZ, Gustavo. Territories for peace in Colombia: between life processes and capital. []. , 26, 2, pp.11-28. ISSN 0124-7913.  https://doi.org/10.15446/bitacora.v26n2.59298.

The possibilities of peace open by the dialogues and the significant progress of the signing of the first agreements of bilateral ceasefire between the Colombian government and the FARC, become an exceptional opportunity to rethink and resume building the Colombian nation on most genuine, authentic and relevant territorial bases. This text develops several lines of thought. First, there is still in the state-depth understanding of the complexity of the territorial issue and in particular the overlap between this and sectoral policies; second, that many national political and social processes trigger difficult territorial processes to control by regional and local territories, against which the land use plans are just caricatures of territorial regulation and often become functional instruments to the dynamics hegemonize those processes; third, that in a context of war attempts to regulate territorial dynamics are precarious, especially in those areas that receive the greatest impact of the conflict; and fourth, that amidst all these difficulties emerge contradictory to the policy development stage and territorial dynamics that contribute to building a consolidated nation project.

: Dialogues of peace; territorial processes; territorial public policy; land management plans.
