RAMOS-SANZ, Alba Inés. Determination of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in a sustainable energy matrix through scenario I analysis. Case Study in arid zones with high hydric risk. []. , 22, 2, pp.114-125.   04--2021. ISSN 1657-0308.  https://doi.org/10.14718/revarq.2020.2752.

A Sustainable Energy Matrix is taken as a case study to estimate the equivalent carbon dioxide (CO2eq; GHG) emissions per MWh of energy consumed and per capita. Background data indicate that said matrix is often supplied with a national conventional matrix. The hypothesis test confirms this assumption; the Matrix covers the energy demand 17% of the time. The variation coefficient is determined, in order to observe the behavior of CO2eq / Per Capita emissions according to the participation of the Sustainable Energy Matrix, at times when it does not cover the demand and it must be provided with fossil resources from the National Interconnected System. It is concluded that the average level of GHG emissions 83% of the time increases up to five times that estimated per unit of energy (0.10 CO2eq / MWh) and up to eight times per user (5.20 tnCO2eq / Per Capita).
