El artículo busca analizar la desigualdad de género dentro de la estructura del empleo privado, afectada por el fenómeno de la heterogeneidad estructural durante el lapso de crecimiento económico comprendido entre 2003 y 2013. Para abordar este objetivo, se ha construido un enfoque teórico-metodológico a través del diálogo de los estudios de género y de la economía feminista con las contribuciones del estructuralismo latinoamericano. Los resultados de la investigación, que ha aplicado una estrategia metodológica de tipo cuantitativa, evidencian la existencia de una segregación laboral de género anclada al estilo de desarrollo argentino que pone límites a la capacidad del país de crecer y desarrollarse con igualdad de género.

The article seeks to analyze gender inequality within the structure of private employment, affected by the phenomenon of structural heterogeneity during the period of economic growth between 2003 and 2013. To address this objective, a theoretical-methodological approach has been constructed through the dialogue of gender studies and feminist economics with the contributions of Latin American structuralism. The results of the research, which has applied a quantitative methodological strategy, show the existence of gender labor segregation anchored to the Argentine development style that limits the country's ability to grow and develop with gender equality.
