Abstract
MONSALVE FLOREZ, Jhon Alexánder. SOCIOLINGUISTICS IN SIXTH GRADE: TOWARDS A TRAINING OF THE BEING-SUBJECT-SPEAKER. Linguist.lit. [online]. 2017, n.72, pp.100-113. ISSN 0120-5587. https://doi.org/10.17533/udea.lyl.n72a05.
Being-subject-speaker is understood as the competence of the social being that updates and understands the linguistic uses in particular contexts. This is enhanced in the Spanish classroom (sixth grade), based on a didactic sequence, divided into three moments: the recognition of the students' linguistic identity, the study of literary texts in which language varieties are evidenced and the running of written workshops on interviews with speakers from the immediate environment. With the above, not only is the enhancement of the communicative competence achieved but also the respect for the other as a valid interlocutor within specific situations.
