Abstract
RODRIGUEZ, Carlos F.; QUINTERO, Hugo and ASCHNER, Helena. Human arm movement: from three levels to three dimensions. rev.ing. [online]. 2005, n.22, pp.36-44. ISSN 0121-4993.
The classic upper limb motion representation is appropriate for describe individual motions performed in planes, but it has incoherencies when it's used for description of three-dimensional complex movements. In this work a modification for the motion representation of the upper limb is presented. This representation is especially useful for the report of results in computerized motion analysis laboratories. The proposed representation has two advantages: it is robust in the sense of unicity and it allows description of three-dimensional motion graphically in a familiar way for health professionals.
Keywords : Arm motion; human arm motion measurement; three-dimensional, kinematics.
