Abstract

ZUCCARINO, Maximiliano. Models american-fordist and japanesse-toyotist: are they two conflicting forms of productive organization? A case study : bolivian workers members Federacion Obrera Local (FOL) in first half of the twentieth. Hist. Caribe [online]. 2012, vol.7, n.21, pp.197-215. ISSN 0122-8803.

This paper concerns the fordism and toyotism, the best known american and japanese models of productive organization. Supported in a case study based on bolivian workers' testimonies from 1920 and 1930 decades, it will be try to be demonstrated that, although different, these productive models have proved not to be incompatible.
