Abstract

YANEZ AGUILAR, Cristian Andrés. From rowers to passengers: Travel memories and social changes in a Chiloé island, Chile. Historelo.rev.hist.reg.local [online]. 2011, vol.3, n.6, pp.231-252. ISSN 2145-132X.

The article describes the motorboat arrival which replaces the previous navigation practices, and its social impact on islanders.
