Abstract

This paper offers a comprehension on the urban and social transformation of Medellin, Colombia from 1890 to 1930. This phenomenon responds to a time of global changes in which countries producers of raw material were linked to. This approach offers a general perspective based on secondary information sources, which are contrasted with primary evidences from that time.
