Abstract

CASTELLANOS, Rafael. HERMENEUTICS AND DECONSTRUCTION. Ideas y Valores [online]. 2006, vol.55, n.130, pp.3-22. ISSN 0120-0062.

This article´s intention is to underline the topos of proximity in Derrida´s reading of Heidegger, connecting it with the assumption of the unity of the word as the core of the possibility of the meaning of being, and with the autoaffection as a condition for the unity of meaning and proximity; unity which, at the same time, is a condition for presence. The critical relevance of this matrix is examined in and departing from Being and Time, as an inquiry on the possibility of understanding the question about being as a reabsorption of the ontic-existenziel into the ontologic-existenzial. Finally, the concept of death is introduced as the limit of that which Heidegger conceives only as possibility, and not, as Derrida suggests, from its simultaneous and constitutive impossibility.

Keywords : Heidegger; Derrida; hermeneutics; deconstruction.
