Abstract
GOMEZ VILLAR, ANTONIO. THE DEVICES OF A SOCIETY OF CONTROL AND EXCESS OF SUBJECTIVITY. Ideas y Valores [online]. 2020, vol.69, n.174, pp.35-58. Epub Apr 28, 2021. ISSN 0120-0062. https://doi.org/10.15446/ideasyvalores.v69n174.62325.
Based on (Post-)Operaist analyses, we propose explaining the transition from disciplinary devices to those typical of a Society of Control as an attempt to capture the subjectivity excess and lifeforms proliferation, constituting the immanent mode of production of wealth in Post-Fordist economy. Post-Fordist capitalism is a device for capturing and appropriating that production, rather than an exploitation structure that may be exclusively understood as related to the concept of surplus-value.
