Abstract

VERGARA HOYOS, José Vicente. Theological language: crosses and sufferings. Franciscanum [online]. 2016, vol.58, n.166, pp.271-293. ISSN 0120-1468.

Abstract This article offers an insight into the theological language based on the Suffering perspective. While modern rationality is concerned about logical and scientific language, the Anamnetic reason saves humanity from its own oblivion. The cross of Christ reminds us of the history victims and the clamoring of humanity; that's why the Theology is dabar, the memory of Christ, of his crucifixion and re-surrection, but it is also the reminder of new crosses of humanity. Besides, the theological language is remembrance and hope.

Keywords : Modern rationality; Anamnetic reason; language suffering; clamoring; hope.
