Abstract

GUARDIOLA-RIVERA, Óscar. The history’s angel. Freedom designs, 200 years later. Nómadas [online]. 2010, n.33, pp.79-91. ISSN 0121-7550.

In view of the globalization principles crisis and its doubtful economic success, the author is aimed to make a contribution to the criticism of the contemporary ideologies and metaphysics. It is done by questioning the government paradigm supported by the exception, security, necessity, and a preventive and decisive authority that pretends to exorcise the current apocalyptic menace. Against the idea of a necessary deciding Executive who faces the uncertainty of our times, the author states that the driving force for political action is the achievement of a contingent desirable future image.

Keywords : globalization; historicity; ideologies; deciding Executive; absolute necessity; uncertainty; political action.
