This paper aims to present an overview of the procedures of evaluation at the National Pedagogical University, Bogotá, Colombia, in the French as a Foreign Language program. The aim of this case study was to observe and describe how the different evaluation procedures applied by the French professors of the Language Department are in some way leading towards a dialogical evaluation, which takes into account students' personal learning processes and also include their voices in the process of decision making.
