The objective of this article is to describe the internalized stigma in an LGBT group in Bogota, Colombia. Power relations are recognized and heteronormative, dichotomous thinking predominates, which configures the sociocultural stigma decanting in an internalized stigma. This affects the development of their capabilities and autonomy, by limiting a better human development.
