Abstract

GUTIERREZ RUIZ, Camilo. Anthropo-Facts Tecno-Species: The Western Transitory Human and His Social and Cultural Practices. Pensam. palabra obra [online]. 2018, n.19, pp.76-87. ISSN 2011-804X.

This text focuses on the idea of the cyborg man, the transient human, the post-human as the main and personal interest, the de-stereotyping of that symbiosis. The imaginary about a new type of man, a post human, with a changing body not only biologically, but also socially and ideologically, a symbiotic body to an idealized machine. A new era of reflection revolves around not only the promises of man as an evolving being, but the demand for technology and its potential uses. Trans humanism is presented as a notion referring to the subjects of human improvements, use of technology as a potential remedy and/or solution to physical, mental and ideological limitations, which results in different sectors of society being both morally and legislatively against those practices. Showing how the body is, based on technology, involved in a series of tools and instruments that have somehow formed and justified the human being necessarily as it is, because he has always wondered about how he came to the world.

Keywords : Trans humanism; post humanism; cyborg; symbiosis; technique; machine.
