Abstract

This reflection paper on the concepts of education and experience in Hans-George Gadamer for a pedagogy of the environment makes it possible to determine the existence of a bridge between subjectivity and the contemplation of a surrounding world (nature). Therefore, it is a reflection supported on Michael Ende's The Neverending Story, aiming to demonstrate how relevant it would be to use it as a re-conceptualization of the experience of subjectivity through the contemplation of nature away from the incisive position of the classical scientificity that separates both the personality of the one who studies the environment and the parts that compose the object studied. Using Ende's work is the proposal for a research seeking an aesthetic experience in youth in order to revive nature from an "enchanted" world by using visual tools, such as illustration and photography.
