The territory of innovation is the result of cumulative learning, new knowledge generation as it is the space where new products and services are created, virtual productive regions arise through technology and communication. The key to industrialization is innovation, this has been associated with effective human development, technologies and dynamic efficiency factors derived from the existence of a set of positive externalities. Innovation generates its own spatial agglomeration, identified with location economies ranging from the presence of production to consumer markets with broad and diversified jobs. In addition, investment in fixed capital accumulates as infrastructure, equipment, and human capital where business and institutional density, or the centers of knowledge production and transmission, among others, are based on the generation of knowledge expressed in the results innovation. Objective. Understanding business dynamics from three dimensions: geography of innovation, entrepreneurship, and effective human resources in Bogotá production units. Methodology. The study has two phases: literature review and analysis of information according to the dimensions of effective human resource and entrepreneurship. Results. Innovation is a challenge of the territory that has to do with the business dynamics with flexibility for learning and handling human resource management innovation.
