Law 9/2016 of 27 December, regulating Social Services in Andalucía, has created a new status quo regarding social protection in the autonomous community. The article studies it in two connected stages, in order to determine whether the regulation and management of Community Social Services in the province of Almería, of economic contributions to cover basic food and housing needs, respect the spirit of the recently approved Law. The first stage presents the design of a system to analyze the contributions, and the second, applies that system to the contributions established beforehand.
