Abstract

RAMOS TEIXEIRA, Andreia  and  REIGOTA, Marcos. Women in the Congo of Espiritu Santo State and Their Ecological Re-Existence Practices with the School Years. Trab. soc. [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.2, pp.169-191.  Epub Apr 27, 2022. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v23n2.91973.

The narratives of the women in the Congo of Espiritu Santo are evidenced here as testimonies of practices of ecological re-existence. Based on studies with school daily, and the ecologist perspective of education having Paulo Freire pedagogy as the central axis, we try to emphasize its ethical, political, pedagogical, and cultural dimensions. Their stories and their personal and collective fights connect with other struggles and "subjects of history" in contemporary Brazil, including our own, in the different school daily lives where we operate. With the narratives of these women, we approach ways of living built on solidarity and resistance with hope.

Keywords : ecologist perspective of education; narratives; school daily; women of Congo.
