Abstract

CASTRILLON AGUDELO, Natalia Andrea  and  MARTINEZ GONZALEZ, Lina María. Aiming to Work with Emotions from the Social Work Training with Subjects and Families. Trab. soc. [online]. 2023, vol.25, n.1, pp.169-197.  Epub Mar 01, 2023. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v25n1.101943.

The article discusses the centrality of emotions in the educational proposal for Social Work at Universidad del Quindío, specifically in the academic spaces of Contemporary Social Work II and III, aimed towards professional praxis training with subjects and families. It presents the foundations of the pioneers that back this training proposal and the teaching-learning strategies implemented to materialize it in the approach of the dimensions of the discipline-profession, from a commitment with the students' reflexivity as subjects, with emotions constructed and transformed into significant interactions, particularly family ones.

Keywords : Social work training; emotions; fundamentals of the profession; pre-practice; subjects; families; graduate profile.
