ECHEVERRI-CHICA, Daniela; VERGARA-SANINT, Isabela  and  VALLEJO-MONDRAGON, Ernesto L.. Endovascular management of a mycotic pseudoaneurysm. Rev. Colomb. Cardiol. [online]. 2023, vol.30, n.2, pp.128-133.  Epub May 01, 2023. ISSN 0120-5633.  https://doi.org/10.24875/rccar.22000018.

Pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysm is a rare entity in pediatrics, where early identification and proper management can lead to a better outcome for the patient. The case of a pediatric patient with mycotic pseudoaneurysm of the pulmonary artery and its outcome after endovascular management is described. A review of the patient’s medical history is carried out prior to signing the informed consent and acceptance by the institution’s medical ethics committee. Pulmonary artery psuedoaneurysm is an entity that should be promptly recognized to favor interventions that have an impact on the survival rates and prognosis of these patients.
