Abstract

ZANOTELLI, Claudio Luiz. Multiple regional configurations: reflections from The Anti-Oedipus: capitalism and schizophrenia by Gilles Deleuze y Félix Guattari. Cuad. Geogr. Rev. Colomb. Geogr. [online]. 2010, n.19, pp.125-135. ISSN 0121-215X.

The purpose of this paper is to show some thoughts on capitalism's axiomatic, which decodes all conventions of "uncivilized" societies, and fulfills the promises of despotic and "barbarous" societies, partially updating the despotic delusions of grandeur of the modern States. Simultaneously, capitalism creates a proliferation of regional and territorial fractures as well as globalization of all kinds. In this total decoding and transmutation of values, the flows (social, economic, and political) released by capitalism falter in front of a decoding that would lead, on the one hand, to a radical "de-territorialization" of the processes and, on the other, to a conservative resurgence and updating of these flows produced by the process of "destructive creation".

Keywords : capitalism; de-territorialization; globalization; re-territorialization; territorialization.
