Abstract

This work presents a rapid and concise outline of the university as an organisation from the perspective of relationships with its stakeholders. Its arguments are based on a compilation of models for managing universities' relationships with its interest groups, as a support for introducing reflection concerning the model of the university for the future, placing special interest on the Colombian setting and the university's mission as a social educator.
