Abstract

SANCHEZ HERRERA, Joaquín; PINTADO BLANCO, Teresa; TALLEDO FLORES, Hernán  and  CARCELEN GARCIA, Sonia. Postgraduate education in Spain: an empirical study of the structure of latent motivation. Innovar [online]. 2009, vol.19, suppl.1, pp.131-140. ISSN 0121-5051.

This work analyses the structure of students' motivation regarding postgraduate studies so as to describe existing differences. Latent class analysis was thus used, the result showing three clearly separated groups in motivational terms, thereby demanding particular treatment from the perspective of business schools and universities.

Keywords : segmentation; postgraduate education; motivation; consumer behaviour.
