This study presents research aimed at: 1) determining the conceptions that future professionals in the business world have regarding the practical teaching they received during their university studies, 2) determining the level of importance that specific skills in a degree program in the field of Administrative Sciences have on the exercise of their profession, 3) looking at the professional skills that are actually taught during their university studies, both at the faculty and/or through internships at companies and 4) determining whether or not certain descriptive variables produce differential effects on the opinions expressed in this regard. A quantitative research methodology has been used in the study, fundamentally of a descriptive type; the data obtained have been subjected to diverse statistical treatments. The results show the effects of external internships in relation to professional qualification.
