Abstract

Clathrus archeri is recorded for the first time in Colombia. The basidiomes was collected on a lower mountain humid rainforest (bh-MB) of the eastern hills of Bogota city, department of Cundinamarca. The species is described and illustrated, and information on distribution, ecology and growth substrate is provided. In addition, a taxonomic key species of the family Phallaceae registered for Colombia is presented.
