Introduction/objective:

Drinking water supply and proper wastewater management are fundamental aspects to ensure people’s health. However, certifying the quality of these services is a challenge that requires an efficient and comprehensive approach. In this sense, implementing management systems or digital technologies can be key solutions to make these services more efficient. The purpose of the study was to determine how the quality management system influences the drinking water and sewerage services of the company EPS Barranca S. A., located in the province of Barranca, Peru.

Methodology:

A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational approach was followed. A questionnaire was designed for which 80 administrative workers participated.

Results:

Spearman’s Rho correlation analysis was used, which gave a value of 0.945 (p < 0.05) and which evidenced that a quality management system significantly influences the drinking water and sewerage service of the company EPS Barranca S. A.
