This article aims to determine the level of entrepreneurship as a competitive advantage in the students of the Faculty of Administrative and Accounting Economic Sciences of the Reformed University Corporation (CUR) Barranquilla headquarters. It is based on the need to include entrepreneurship within the transversal contents and the curricular guidelines of the study programs taught in this faculty. A quantitative, descriptive, transectional and field research was carried out. Te population was 558 students from the CUR. The sample was established in 85 students to whom a Likert scale questionnaire with 14 questions was applied to determine entrepreneurial attitudes. It was possible to verify that entrepreneurship is not included in the transversal contents of the curriculum, for which reason students enter the labor field with various fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge to work in the administration of a company, but not to develop an initiative of business.

Keywords : entrepreneurship; transversal contents; curricular guidelines; business initiative.
