Abstract
HERNANDEZ RODRIGUEZ, Juan Camilo and BARACALDO MENDEZ, Cristhian Alexander. METAPHYSICAL PRECEDENTS OF SARTRE'S CONCEPT OF BEING. Univ. philos. [online]. 2018, vol.35, n.71, pp.323-349. ISSN 0120-5323. https://doi.org/10.11144/javeriana.uph35-71.amss.
In this work we will analyze the main features of Sartre's ontological- phenomenological theory in Being and Nothingness, linking them with some key historical precedents (mainly, Parmenides, Hegel, Husserl and Heidegger). By clarifying the connections of this theory with the former philosophical tradition on the subject of Being, its role in existence, real ity's nature and its relation to the phenomenon, the actual contribution of Sartre in this matter is demonstrated.
Keywords : being; nothingness; existence; reality; phenomenon.
