Abstract
BLUMENKRANC, Vera; PELAEZ C., Gabriela; PUIG, Martín and REVEL CHION, Andrea. Which Emotions Circulated During Virtual Classes? A Survey on the Emotional Aspect in Exact and Natural Sciences Virtual Classes During sars-cov-2 Virus Pandemic. Rev. Fac. Cienc. Tecnol. [online]. 2023, n.53, pp.219-238. Epub Jan 01, 2023. The current paper is framed in a research field concerning emotional dimension, as a branch of Natural Science Didactics. For this purpose, a poll was sent in November of 2020, the first pan-demic year. From it, the collected data was analyzed at first, and then graphics were built. Four principal topics were taken into consideration in this analysis: communication among students, the relationship between students and teachers, ways of content transmission, and how students are evaluated. Thinking particularly of a pandemic context, in which both teaching and learning have been obligated to be virtual, the results uncover the imminent necessity of considering emotional aspects in an academic context. For instance, an increase in students’ positive emotions under synchronic classes can be observed, as well as a rise the negative ones on behalf of losing the interaction between pairs or as a result of teachers standing by the same evaluation methods.
