Abstract

DI NAPOLI, Pablo Nahuel. Sociodynamics of Juvenile Conflicts in School Space. Aleth. rev. desarro. hum. educ. soc. contemp. [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.1, pp.15-40.  Epub Nov 16, 2020. ISSN 2145-0366.

This article presents the conflict between young people in the school space enquiring into the reasons for which it emerges, the senses that the students give it and the dynamics that it acquires. Based on a qualitative methodological strategy, 60 interviews are analyzed 60 and 5 focus groups conducted with students from two state high schools in the province of Buenos Aires in Argentina. In the first place, the conceptual references about the category of "conflict" that theoretically supports this writing are explained in few words. In second place, the results on four conflicting axes mentioned frequently by young students are presented: a) for the neighborhoods of residence, b) for "picas" in sports games , c) for "talking badly" about another person and, d) for "a child". It is concluded that the sociodynamics of confrontations are framed social figurations in which students experience feelings of superiority and inferiority. This research seeks to provide knowledge to develop pedagogical mechanisms for conflict resolution within schools.
