Abstract The conflict is a phenomenon inherent to society, where the obstacles and confronted interests (conflict) are not oblivious to the existence of life in the universe, are a constant in her reality and therefore overcoming (management) will be vital for their livelihoods . That overcoming the conflict or management, it is given taking into account the attitude taken by the actors, which can be positive manifested through dialogue, peace agreements, among others; or negative, aggression, violence, war, however, this negative conception of conflict has changed, emerging as an opportunity to rebuild social fabric and culture of peace training. This breakthrough research is oriented to reflect on the concept of conflict of conflict and its characteristics, and the importance of peace processes and post-conflict, making critical reading aimed to deepen the subject and subsequently substantiate an analysis concerning the conflict and possible peace agreement in Colombia.
