Abstract

BORBON GARCIA, Katherin Daniela  and  GARCIA PERILLA, Juan Carlos. Changes and consistencies in the Libyan political organization. The Gaddafi and post Gaddafi era from a systemic perspective. Rev. Fac. Derecho Cienc. Polit. - Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2019, vol.49, n.131, pp.225-254.  Epub Mar 30, 2020. ISSN 0120-3886.  https://doi.org/10.18566/rfdcp.v49n131.a01.

This article aims to comprehend and analyze Muammar Gaddafi's political system known as Jamahiriya, which endured from the Green Revolution in 1969 until its fall, when the coup d'état occurred in 2011, within the so-called Arab Spring. This political system will be analyzed under the theoretical assumptions of David Easton, known in the academic world as system analytical approach, where constant interaction between the system and its environment can be found, which determines, in this sense, the stability or survival of it.

Keywords : Political system; systemic; institutional crisis; Arab Spring; Muammar Gaddafi; Jamahiriya; Green Book.
