Abstract

Isolated retrograde amnesia is an uncommon Neuropsychological deficit and its etiology, clinical features, imaging and recovery have been poorly documented. This article reports the clinical case of a 28 year old female patient, resident in Medellin, Colombia, who after a kidnapping, suffers loss of remote memory. The patient received neuropsychological assessment, structural and functional neuroimaging studies, in order to characterize a possible neurological damage.
