The objective of this document is to realize a spatial analysis about internal migration dynamics in Colombia; specifically during time period 2000 - 2005, based on census information. Thus, through a gravitational model was determined that inter-department migration flows in Colombia were oriented towards most populous departments, with higher incomes and migratory tradition. Additionally, it was found that during this period Guaviare was the department with the highest probability of emigration to neighboring zones; on the other hand, Antioquia was the department where emigration probability was lower.
