Abstract

OTERO, Analia. Young Workers, Young Fighters. Reflections on Contemporary Experience. Nómadas [online]. 2010, n.32, pp.163-177. ISSN 0121-7550.

In this article I present a reflection on the construction of social identifications that generate social distinctions, by analyzing the crosses among the figures of "worker", "fighter" and "lazy". The work was based on a study conducted in 2003-2005 among young people seconded to the Movement of Unemployed Workers of Lanús (Argentina), which promotes the formation of productive-community groups, and microenterprise management.

Keywords : youth; subjectivities; worker; fighter; social representations.
