Abstract

SORIA, Sofía. The reinvention of nation in the current Argentina: State, national narrative and indigenous peoples. Nómadas [online]. 2011, n.34, pp.215-227. ISSN 0121-7550.

The article tends to analyze the articulation of the national narrative that the Argentinean State staged in the context of the debate and later passing of the Ley de Educaciòn Nacional in 2006. The study of some documents issued on purpose of that debate, led us to question the narratives through which the nation is reinvented and assume new profiles in its relation with "others": the indigenous peoples.

Keywords : State; national narrative; indigenous peoples; education; hegemony; recognition.
