Abstract

This article pursues to show how the legal academic experience, as an activity enrolled on the programs of the Public Legal Management Model of the Municipality of Medellín, has materialized the principles of article 209 of the Political Constitution, particularly, those of publicity, responsibility, and transparency. For this, authors did a normative, jurisprudential, and doctrinal analysis of the aforementioned principles; then, beginning with a documentary review, experiences analogous to the legal academic experience were systematized to establish its novelty as part of the Model. Finally, as a result of the triangulation between the facts, the legal provisions and the theoretical heritage of the article, the narratives of the students who participated in the academic legal experience between 2016 and 2019 were constructed, an interval in which the activity was uninterrupted. With this, authors established that the legal academic experience materializes the constitutional principles and that it is articulated to the strategic approach of the Model attending to its preventive dimension. Namely, the social projection of the Model strengthens the ethical scope from the resignification of imaginary, comprehensive training, awareness of service, and the generation of trust towards institutions.
